In June 2007, Kimberley Walker was blessed with the opportunity of a lifetime. The long-time owners of Remember When decided to sell their treasured scrapbooking store. They opened its doors in April 1997, and since then had built it up into a remarkable scrapbooking resource. But now their work was done, and they were excited to begin a new chapter of their lives.

At the time, Kim was a special needs assistant educator. She was a devoted assistant to a wonderfully talented teacher, but it wasn't quite the right path. After being a customer and a part time employee for several years, Kim knew that creating scrapbooks and special handmade gifts was just the thing to renew her spirit. During the year prior, Kim made special journals, bag books and cards for a unique specialty store in Walnut Creek, CA. Creating these special projects provided an outlet to do what came as a natural and real love for Kim.

When Kim learned that the owners were selling Remember When a spark was lit. She saw a window to a different life and knew her prayer had been answered: she was blessed with the opportunity to live a dream. Kim cemented her faith and took the leap! Now a special needs assistant turned entrepreneur, Kim dedicates her life to helping scrapbookers perform the exquisite art of making memories last a lifetime.

My name is Kayla Adams and I have been working at Remember When now for almost three years and as a creative team member for two of them. I am currently a full-time student in San Luis Obispo working towards a degree in Hospitality Management to pursue a career in event planning.

I have been scrapbooking for the past 6 years, but when I started working at Remember When it officially got out of control. =) I love anything with glitter on it. My favorite color is green, and I have a weakness for anything that has one of those adorable owls on it. I love black and white photos and am really bad at journaling. Right now, my absolute favorite companies are Making Memories, KI, and Heidi Swapp. One of my friends once said that my style is "playful elegance" so I'll go with that. You can see more of my layouts by clicking: here. I would love to hear from any of you and always need suggestions for new pages, themes and colors! Hopefully I'll see you soon!!! Love always…

My name is Jeannie Cuevas and I have been on creative team at Remember When for about eight years. I am married to Lewis and have a beautiful daughter, Sarah. She is my creative inspiration and the reason I started scrapbooking almost eleven years ago.

My favorite companies include SEI, KI, and My Mind's Eye. My favorite color is green - I love it! I like to do my journaling and titles on my computer and spend way too much time agonizing over just the right font. I love being creative, taking pictures, hanging out with my sweet Sarah, watching movies with my husband and lingering over mochas and caramel macchiatos (iced please) at Starbucks with my BFF Kim.
